Beijing, 23rd August, 2021 (BISTU)—  The 10th BISTU Meeting on Construction and Relocation of the New Campus held on the New Campus successfully completes on 23rd August 2021 at Xiaoying Campus. The Meeting is attended by President Wang Yongsheng, Vice President Ma Qinghong, Vice President Zhang Lin, Vice President Chen Xin, Director Du Shizhi of Publicity Department (also member of Standing Committee of CPC BISTU Committee), Assistant to VP Luan Zhongquan, Assistant to VP Lin Guoce as well as directors of relating divisions.  

Wang Yongsheng reviews reports delivered by relating departments and divisions on latest progress with construction and relocation of the New Campus. He points out that New Campus is being built and relocated orderly owing to firm leadership of CPC BISTU Committee and joint efforts of all divisions and offices. He extends thanks to faculties and staff contributing to the New Campus and makes plans for future work. Firstly, all must enhance political awareness and realize that construction of BISTU New Campus is a key project of Beijing Municipality. Secondly, with regard to issues concerning construction and relocation of the New Campus, all division and offices shall make early-bird plan and make sure all work are done as planned. Thirdly, all divisions and offices shall strengthen communication with local governments on issues like power supply, fire control, waste collecting, etc. And fourthly, special attention shall be paid to coordinated allocation of resources, power supply, removal of volatile organic compounds (VOC), and safety and security on campus.  

Ma Qinghong points out that BISTU divisions and offices have successfully mitigated influence upon construction and relocation of the New Campus. It is hoped that persistent efforts are made by all divisions and offices in respect of particular, key issues like removal of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and assurance of progress and quality of New Campus construction.  

On behalf of Publicity Department, Du Shizhi delivers a report on construction of Academic Auditorium, arrangements for welcoming new students, and publicity on construction and relocation of the New Campus. Lin Guoce explains progresses with tendering and bidding regarding the New Campus. Director Cui Kai of New Campus Construction Office informs all attendants of the Meeting on latest progress with construction. Executive Deputy Director Zhao Lisheng talks about progress with relocation on the New Campus.
