Beijing Construction Engineering Group Visited BISTU

Beijing, 12th March 2024 (BISTU)---  President Xie Jiangling met with General Manager Lu Gang of Beijing Construction Engineering Group on 12th March 2024.  


Following warm welcome to the delegation of Beijing Construction Engineering Group, Xie Jiangling affirmed the achievements that the Group has made in construction of the new campus. He offered an introduction to latest progresses of the University, especially the outstanding achievements in respect of serving national and municipal development with BISTU’s advantages in scientific and technological innovation. Facing with unprecedented opportunities of development, the University was marching towards the goal of building a high level university with distinctive feature in information technology. New campus construction remained one of the current urgent missions of the University. And Beijing Construction Engineering Group had a lot in common with BISTU in values and the dedication to invigorating China. He hoped that both parties would optimize resource allocation and improve efficiency. Diversified communication could be conducted centering on talent cultivation, placement, scientific and technological innovation, commercialization of research achievements, etc. BISTU is now building Institute of Digital and Intelligent Industries. It would be a good opportunity for both parties to promote in-depth integration of industry, learning, research, and application.  


Lu Gang extended thanks to BISTU for the trust and support. He expressed that both parties have worked together in a harmonious manner and made substantial achievements. The Group would make sure to build the new campus into a quality project. With a long history in education and distinctive feature in information technology, BISTU had displayed its strengths on the new development phase. It was hoped that academic strengths of the University would be brought into full play to support corporate digital transformation and boost development of new productive forces. He looked forward to expanding cooperation to the area of talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, and management services, aiming at making greater contributions to municipal development in the new era.  

Vice President Ye Xiangzhong offered an introduction to progresses with construction of the new campus.  

Deputy General Manager Chen Lianyi of Beijing Construction Engineering Group discussed the demand of the Group on digital transformation and explored the pathways of cooperation in scientific and technological innovation and commercialization of research achievements.  


The survey and meeting were attended by management staff members of Beijing Construction Engineering Group and directors of General Administration Office, Office for Infrastructure Construction, Financial Office, Bidding and Tendering Center, and Office for Admissions and Career Consultation of BISTU.
