BISTU Senior Administrators Conduct Inspection on Safety and Epidemic Containment

Beijing, 25th December, 2020 (BISTU)BISTU senior administrators conduct inspection on various campuses of the University for safety and epidemic containment during the New Year’s holiday and the coming winter holiday.   

Secretary Wang Chuanliang of CCP BISTU Committee successively inspects the north gate of Xiaoying campus, University Clinic, Boiler Room, and University canteens to check protective equipment and measures. Wang Chuanliang stresses that strict rules shall be applied to entrances and exits of all campuses in the attitude of being highly responsible for the safety and health of all students, faculties, and staff. The University Clinic shall make sound preparations for receiving new patients, prevention of coronavirus pneumonia and other epidemic-prone diseases, and guaranteeing sufficient supply of epidemic protection materials and equipment. Logistics department shall make sure to complete disinfection in public zones and try to find hidden risks in key areas. Strict rules shall be applied to purchase, management, and disinfection of cold-chain foods as well as management of staff and people eating in the canteens. United efforts and strength are now requested to win the final victory of combating the coronavirus epidemic.

President Wang Yongsheng inspects the New Campus for epidemic containment and safety of construction. Wang Yongsheng enquires about measures taken in respect of epidemic containment at the New Campus and progress and safety with construction. Wang Yongsheng emphasizes that the human-oriented and life-matters principle shall be firmly held and all requirements on epidemic containment of supervising institutions shall be thoroughly implemented. Focuses are to be laid upon disinfection to safeguard health and safety of staff members at the New Campus. Meanwhile, importance shall be attached to prevention of various risks based on strict conformation to all rules and regulations on epidemic control and containment. All hidden risks are to be located to make sure the orderly, safe construction of the New Campus.

Other senior administrators respectively visit quarantine places and other campuses to provide guidance for epidemic containment. The requests have been posed that the University’s policy and decisions on epidemic containment shall be firmly, thoroughly implemented on all campuses. All students, faculties, and staff shall be informed of changes and latest news in this regard.
