Each student is expected to seriously and carefully learn and understand the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th National Congress of CPC in that only by thorough understanding of the spirit will we be able to implement it in actual actions.

Wang Yongsheng extends thanks to students for their love of the University. He comments that the University is truly concerned about every matter concerning wellbeing of students. All channels remain open for students to give advices or proposals to the University.

Students from all parts of the country shall learn how to adapt yourselves to Beijing as soon as possible. The ability of adaptation is very important, which would serve as a guiding role in your future when you are ready to walk into a much broader world.” Says Wang Yongsheng.

The 11 representatives are from various department and various provinces. On the Talk, they share their feelings and experiences in learning the spirit of the fifth plenary session of the 19th National Congress of CPC as well as emotional changes after they start their college life at BISTU. They share their puzzled feelings and bemusement as a freshman, their love and hope as their colleges life truly begins, and their deep love of the University when they just graduate from BISTU and become postgraduate students also at BISTU.

Pati Guli (transliteration of her Uyghur name) is from School of Economics and Management. When she first came to Beijing to attend the high school, she became quite worried, though she felt the excitement. In a new environment, she felt that other students around her are more open-minded, more knowledgeable, and more competent. However, she has never been discouraged but worked even harder. She firmly holds that perseverance leads to success. “There are unlimited possibilities in the college. Only by investing more efforts can we achieve the success that we aim at.” Says Guli.

Li Zhongyuan from School of Economics and Management has attended the first training class of BISTU for freshman students. And thus she arrives at the University earlier than other students. She is attracted to the charm of the University in the process of helping organizing new students’ registration. Different from the high School, the University offers a life of more varieties, diversities, and colorfulness. Students are given a much greater degree of autonomy. She says that she has learned a lot and now is expecting to build a better future in the college.
