Wang Yongsheng Inspects Heating Facilities of the University

Beijing, 5th November, 2020 (BISTU)— President Wang Yongsheng, accompanied by Vice President Chen Gang, Assistant to VP Luan Zhongquan, and directors of General Administration Office and Logistics Management Division, inspects heating facilities of the University and preparations for heating supply in the coming winter.  

 

 

Following inspections on key spots like boiler room, control room, circulating pump room, etc., Wang Yongsheng reviews the report on boiler room preparations for heating supply, reform of model in heating supply, etc.. Wang Yongsheng positively comments outsourcing of heating supply in winter that it is a new popular trend to include outsourcing in our services. He says that equality should be given to staff members of contractors. In the control room, after learning about the principle of control box and following explanation of working staff members, Wang Yongsheng presses the start button, symbolizing heating supply of this winter officially commences. He also talks with staff members in pump house and tells them to strike a proper balance between work and leisure.  

 

 

Wang Yongsheng says that logistics at the University has made quite some achievements in respect of heating supply, food saving, campus environment management, etc. In addition, he emphasizes that the following four issues shall be attached importance: firstly, any issue related to security and safety is no bagatelle. Services in logistics must pay attention to details and must ensure safety. Secondly, heating supply in winter is a major event of the year. A warm, cozy winter is what all faculties and staff want. And thus heating supply must be ensured. Thirdly, problems shall be tackled in a timely manner based on laws and regulation and we shall make sure no issues left over from the past. And fourthly, Logistics Management Division shall make persistent efforts to settle down previous issues such as outstanding fees in heating supply.
