Beijing, 4th June, 2020 (BISTU)— BISTU meeting on employment of recent graduates in 2020 successfully completes on Xiaoying Campus and other six sub-venues on 4th June 2020. The Meeting, attended by all senior administrators of the University and all deans and directors of schools and divisions, shares the spirit of national and municipal meetings on employment of recent graduates in 2020 and makes arrangements for BISTU recent graduates in 2020.
Secretary Wang Chuanliang of CPC BISTU Committee hosts the meeting and raises specific requests on sound arrangements for employment of recent graduates in 2020. Wang Chuanliang emphasizes that firstly all faculties and staff must enhance political awareness and seriously implement what has been arranged in meetings of Central Party Committee and Beijing Municipality. All faculties and staff shall comprehensively learn and digest General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important messages on employment of recent graduates and the Report on the Work of the Government. We shall be in conformity with decisions and arrangements made by Central Party Committee, State Council, CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, and Beijing Municipality. Secondly, we shall actively expand channels for employment of recent graduates. It is recommended that recent graduates shall be guided and encouraged to take available choices in employment. And students are encouraged to start their own businesses if possible. Thirdly, ideological care and support shall be provided in due time and focus shall be paid to whoever in need. It is emphasized that benefits and rights of recent graduates shall be safeguarded. And fourthly, responsibility on everyone shall be enhanced. Employment of recent graduates shall be viewed as a political mission and deserves great attention to be paid by all faculties and staff.
Wang Chuanliang points out that we shall firmly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on employment of recent graduates and decisions and arrangements made by Central Party Committee and State Council on epidemic containment and employment of recent graduates. We shall try our best to support employment of recent graduates and help them bring their talents into full play and realize their dreams.
President Wang Yongsheng conveys the spirit of national and municipal video and audio conferences on employment of recent graduates in higher educational institutions and makes relating arrangements for the near future. Wang Yongsheng stresses that firstly we shall enhance our awareness, carefully study current situation and fulfill the mission of employment of recent graduates in 2020 with strong sense of political responsibility. We shall be aware of the severity and complex of the situation for employment of recent graduates. And we shall witness the firm confidence of Central Party Committee and State Council in this regard. A series of measures have been taken and we are to convince ourselves that employment of recent graduates will be handled well. Secondly, an operational thinking is needed together with multi-channels for employment of recent graduates. Status and progress of recent graduates’ job hunting shall be grasped in a timely, dynamic manner. Based on our educational features in information technology, we shall further expand channels for employment, strengthen guidance for employment, and lay focus on support and help with those who need this. And thirdly, all schools and divisions shall work coordinately to make sure issues regarding employment of recent graduates in 2020 are stable and in order.
Wang Yongsheng points out that all faculties and staff, facing with the severe and complicated situation of employment, shall firmly implement the spirit of important instructions and messages of General Secretary Xi Jinping and firmly implement decisions and arrangements made by Central Party Committee and State Council on epidemic containment and “stabilizing employment”. We will fear no difficulties and will successfully accomplish the mission of providing support and help with employment of recent graduates in 2020.
