Beijing, 9th January, 2020 (BISTU)— Dean’s Forum of Business School League of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei , i.e., the Forum of Construction of Business Administration as A First Rate Discipline, successfully concludes at BISTU on 9th January 2020 at BISTU.
President Wang Yongsheng meets with Prof. Xi Youmin, President of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and Director General of Teaching Steering Committee in Business Administration of Ministry of Education, and deans of business schools of Business School League of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. The meeting is also attended by Vice President Yu Shijie, Secretary Li Xiangzhi of School of Economics and Management Commission of CPC BISTU Committee, and Dean Qu Li of the School.
Yu Shijie produces an introduction for honored guests of the Meeting to development history and latest progress of the University.
Prof. Xi Youmin delivers a keynote speech on Construction of Business Administration as A First Rate Discipline for audiences of the Meeting. In the report, Xi Youmin explains and discusses concept, connotation, and approaches of new business administration. His discussion covers five aspects, i.e., why we need the new business administration, how to give an orientation to the new business administration, how new business administration adapts to digitization, ecological management in the era of internet and AI, how to cultivate talents in business administration in the era of internet and AI, and reshaping education in business administration--- practices and exploration in Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.
Discussions and exploration are conducted centering on the topic “construction of new business administration as an academic discipline and talent cultivation”. The deans introduce their respective features in school-running and academic discipline construction and exchange ideas on opportunities and challenges with which business schools are facing and changes in mode of talent cultivation under the grand context of digital economic transformation.
Successful organization of Dean’s Forum of Business School League of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei , i.e., the Forum of Construction of Business Administration as A First Rate Discipline would enable School of Economics and Management to strengthen links with other business schools of the League, promote faculties and resources sharing among the schools, and nurture more quality talents to meet the demand of digital economic development in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
