BISTU Delegation Headed by Yu Shijie Conducts Survey at Beijing Institute of Metrology

Beijing, 10th November, 2021 (BISTU)— BISTU delegation headed by Vice President Yu Shijie visits Beijing Institute of Metrology and holds talks with President Yao Hejun of the Institute. The delegation members include Dean Qu Li and Vice Dean Yin Jielin of School of Economics and Management and Vice Dean Sun Guangkai of School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering.   

 

Yu Shijie extends thanks to Beijing Institute of Metrology for their well-arranged reception. Following his introduction on history and current development of BISTU, he expresses the intention of exploring academic and research collaboration in the field of metrology.  

Yao Hejun welcomes the visit of BISTU delegation and produces a detailed introduction to Beijing Institute of Metrology. He says that the Institute is expecting to explore multi-dimensional collaboration with BISTU.  

 

BISTU delegation then visits labs of Beijing Institute of Metrology including National Satellite Navigation and Time Service Metrology Center. Both institutions express that there is a large room to explore in future cooperation and expect to make greater contributions to social economic development of Beijing.
