BISTU Work with Hikvision on Field Practice Base

Beijing, 23rd December, 2019 (BISTU)—  BISTU delegation headed by Vice President Chen Gang visits Hikvision on 20th December 2019 for discussion of school-enterprise collaboration, expanding field practice channels for students, and seeking quality job vacancies for graduating students.  


Chen Gang extends thanks to Hikvision for the trust and support with BISTU and offers an introduction to the University in respect of development history, educational features, talent cultivation, teaching and research, and employment of graduating students.  


President An Bingming of Business Center of Hikvision speaks highly of achievements that BISTU has made in talent cultivation and in offering support with job-hunting of graduating students. He introduces the information on Hikvision, including corporate management, businesses, and job vacancies as well as field practice bases to be opened to BISTU students. He says that Hikvision looks forward to strengthening collaboration with BISTU on mutual beneficial basis.  


On behalf of both parties, Chen Gang and An Bingming sign the agreement on establishing a field practice base for BISTU students at Hikvision. Both parties agree that Hikvision will provide placement for students of excellence of BISTU. In the seminar followed, both parties also discuss on collaboration in respect of academic research, talent cultivation, and students’ job-hunting. Yang Zhengang and Wang Mingyang, two BISTU graduates who are now working at Hikvision, share their experiences.  


To strengthen school-enterprise collaboration, the University has made a series of arrangements to facilitate construction of off-campus field practice bases. As of now 26 off-campus bases have been established. The signing ceremony with Hikvision is also attended by Director Wang Lei and Deputy Director Liu Yunfeng of Admissions and Career Consultation Office, Deputy Director Wang Hongjun of Office for Science Research, Vice Dean Zhang Liangzhi and Vice Dean Shao Fei.
