Beijing, 3rd June 2023 (BISTU)--- BISTU delegation headed by Vice President Chen Xin visited China Cultural Heritage Information and Consulting Center on 2nd June 2023 to deepen academic research collaboration as has been discussed in strategic cooperative agreement between both institutions. Deputy Director Zhang Zhe of China Cultural Heritage Information and Consulting Center met with the delegation. Participants of the meeting included Director Zhang Jian of Office for Scientific Research, Vice Dean You Rui of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electromechanical Engineering School, Vice Dean Yi Junkai of Automation School of BISTU, Director Shen Guihua of Government Affairs Informationization Department of the Center and Director Liu Yan of Qualifications Accreditation Department of the Center.  

Chen Xin expressed gratitude to Zhang Zhe for the warm reception and offered an introduction to BISTU’s latest progresses and breakthroughs in respect of intelligent decision making, sci-tech empowering informationization of cultural relics, and science and technology innovation. He expressed that the University, centering on the objective of building Beijing into “four centers”, would actively provide necessary support and service with China Cultural Heritage Information and Consulting Center. He hoped that both institutions would strengthen communication, maintain long-standing cooperative relationship, and achieve win-win collaboration. BISTU would bring its strengths in intellisense, intelligent computing, and intelligent decision making into full play to promote research, development and application of key technologies concerning informationization of cultural relics.  

Zhang Zhe extended warm welcome to BISTU delegation and commented that research team of BISTU has made constructive progress in this regard. He hoped that cooperation in respect of big data and network education for cultural relics would be strengthened between BISTU and China Cultural Heritage Information and Consulting Center.  

Both institutions discussed details on implementing the framework of cooperation. Based on current cooperative progress, both institutions would enhance join research to achieve digitization in preserving and protecting cultural relics.
