Sparks in Zhongguancun: Another Promotional Event of BISTU Research Achievements in Science and Technology

Beijing, 22nd June 2022 (BISTU)--- Sparks in Zhongguancun: Promotional Meeting (the second one) of BISTU Research Achievements in Science and Technology successfully completed on 21st June 2022. The Promotional event, guided by Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology and Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park and co-organized by BISTU, Informationization Bureau of Haidian District in Science & Technology and Economy, Beijing Service Center for Commercialization of Science and Technology Achievements, Intellectual Property Protection Center of Zhongguancun, Technical Manager Association of Zhongguancun, and Management Committee of Shahe Higher Education Zone, offered roadshows of four projects of BISTU.

Cloud-based Instant Marking Platform by Prof. Lv Xueqiang combined intelligent pens with intelligent software in homework marking. It covered three core scenarios, i.e., cloud classroom, cloud homework, and cloud examination. Traditional books and notebooks were replaced by intelligent paper and pens. Students homework would then be able to automatically marked, with intelligent analysis and automatically-generated report sent to students. It would greatly promote intelligence and digitization of teaching and management.

Dr. Li Yanshengs low-cost water-borne protective nanocoating could be super water-proofing under the condition that buildings were allowed to breathe. As water-borne coatings, it was safe, environmentally-friendly, and cost efficiently and could be widely applied to renovation of old buildings to effectively enhance protectiveness.

The third project was electrochemical compound polishing machine by Prof. Zhang Qinjian. It was a series of machines which have been applied to industrial production. Compared to peer products, these machines are highly automated and environmentally-friendly. It would help greatly in automation of polishing industry.

The fourth project was mobile phone-based intelligent remote monitoring platform for new energy power generation by Dr. Li Fudong. The software was run on mobile phones and could conduct intelligent real-time monitoring and control over new energy power generation systems, including wind power and photovoltaic power generation.

The event attracted over two hundred visitors and a number of incubators and investment institutions.
