Beijing, 3rd July 2026 (BISTU)--- Aiming to foster scholarly exchanges across 3D vision, digital human, and graphics computing and enhance innovation and cultivation in cross-disciplinary education, College of Computer Science invited members of CCFCAD&CG, CSIAMGDC, and CSIG to the University to join hold academic seminars and deliver academic reports.

Vice President He Wei and Vice President Mi Jie met with the experts. It was expected that their consistent support would help high-quality development of graphics computing at BISTU. They said.

The academic reports were delivered by Prof. Liu Ligang of University of Science and Technology of China, Prof. Liu Yebin of Tsinghua University, Prof. Li Shuai of Beihang University, Prof. Zhang Man of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Prof. Chen Renjie of University of Science and Technology of China, Prof. Song Weitao of Beijing Institute of Technology, Prof. Wang Weiming of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Associate Professor Lian Zhouhui of Peking University, and Associate Professor Song Wenfeng of BISTU. Centering on digital human modeling, rendering, and embodied behavior generation, experts discussed academic research progresses in sparse reconstruction, human motion modeling, monocular digital human reconstruction, GPU mesh generation, neural architecture optimization, and medical embodied digital human.

Dean Zhang Wei of College of Computer Science offered an introduction to academic programs, research platforms and talent cultivation of the College and expressed warm welcome to the experts.

The academic event gathered leading and outstanding researchers of China in graphics computing and virtual reality. It was an important step of the College of Computer Science in facilitating high-level academic exchanges.

The event was also attended by Dean Hou Xia of Astra Residential College, Chairperson Qiu Mingxiao of Computer Science College, and faculty and students of BISTU.
