Beijing, 1^st April, 2019(BISTU)— BISTU will invest more efforts and funds in development of Instrumentation science and technology, says President Wang Yongsheng when addressing the 2019 Annual Academic Meeting of China Instrument and Control organizes by BISTU in Beijing.  

Following his warm and sincere congratulations to successful opening ceremony of the Meeting, President Wang Yongsheng points out that the past forty years, since establishment of China Instrument and Control Society in 1979, have witnessed tremendous contribution made by scholars, experts, industry elites, and extensive faculties and staff in universities to social advancement, national rejuvenation, and science and technology development. He stresses that BISTU is an emerging higher educational institution with distinctive features in information technology. Currently the University is actively adjusting academic disciplines and programs to adapt to social and economic development. The University will invest more efforts and support in disciplines related to instrumental science and technology. It is hoped that experts, sister institutions and friends of all circles continue to work with BISTU in an extensive scope of academic fields.  

The Meeting, sponsored by China Instrument and Control Society, Instrument and Control working Group of Academic Degree Commission of the State Council, Steering Committee of Instrument and Control of Ministry of Education, is jointly organized by Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beihang University, BISTU, etc. and attended by over 600 representatives from academia and industries.
