Beijing, 26th January 2024(BISTU)—— Jointly sponsored by BISTU, Lenovo, and Beijing Changping Vocational School, the Industry-education Integration Community of Services and Applications for National Cloud Computing (hereafter referred to as the Community) was officially launched at Beijing Changping Vocational School on 24th January 2024. The launching ceremony was guided by Beijing Municipal Education Commission, sponsored by Changping District Education Commission, Management Committee of Future Science City of Changping, and Changping District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, co-sponsored by Changping District Science and Technology Commission and Changping District of Human Resources and Social Security, and co-organized by BISTU, Lenovo, and Beijing Changping Vocational School. It was attended by Deputy Director Wei Xubin of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Vice Mayor Liu Qiang of Changing District, Vice Chairman Wang Jian of CPPCC Changping District Committee, Director Su Junshan of Changping District Education Commission, Director Liu Chengguo of Changping District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, and Vice President Li Xianglin of Lenovo.

Wei Xubin addressed the ceremony. The Community was expected to be oriented to the demand of economic development in Beijing and provide talents with the development. Wei Xubin said. He added that new methods, new standards and new techniques should be introduced into education. The objective was to nurture talents of applied learning who can facilitate industry upgrading and product innovation. Attention also should be paid to in-depth integration of educational chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain to provide support with high quality development.
Liu Qiang commented that establishment of the Community would break trade barriers and promote in-depth communication and collaboration among industries, educational institutions and science and technology circle. He hoped that the Community would follow its orientation towards the future and build up a development ecology for in-depth integration of industries, learning and research. We were expected to make outstanding contributions to National and regional development. Liu Qiang said.
Xie Jiangling addressed the Ceremony and said that establishment of the Community was an important move in exploring reform of modern vocational education system. It was a necessary step of BISTU in serving regional economic development. He stressed that in the first place the advantage of the Community in resources and convergence should be brought into full play. The objective was to nurture high end technical professionals who are now urgently needed in industries. Second, training programs on talents should be organized for the demand of Changping-based high-grade advanced precision enterprises and small and medium sized manufacturers. And third, education resources should be shared to the maximum to build up a new pattern of development with resources sharing and mutual benefit.
Su Junshan said the Community was a new ecology which would provide suitable support and service with Changping district in respect of digital transformation of educational industries. He hoped that resources sharing would be facilitated and talent cultivation model innovated. Dual-functional faculties should be developed to promote development of vocational education. He added.
Vice President Wang Xingfen, Vice President Du Jinjing of Lenovo, and President Ding Yunpeng of Beijing Changping Vocational School signed the trilateral agreement. Wang Xingfen offered an introduction to future plan of the Community. Plaques were presented to executive vice chairman member institutions and vice chairman member institutions.
The meeting also witnessed the launching ceremony of the Changping United Institution for Digitized Integration of Science, Education, Industry and Local Government and detailed introduction to the United Institution in respect of future development planning, services, and curricula.

The Community was composed of Center of Talent Cultivation for Digitization, Center of Innovation for Future Educational Curricula, Center of Services for Digital Technology, and Center of Training for Digital Technology. It was an actual move to implement the guidelines of the 20th CPC National Congress on integration of industry, science and technology, and education. In-depth cooperation among BISTU, Lenovo and Beijing Changping Vocational School would be conducted to promote coordinated innovation in vocational education, higher education, and continuing education.
The meeting and ceremony were also attended by administrators of Changping District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Changping District Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, and Changping District Science and Technology Commission, representatives of higher educational institutions including Beijing Normal University, BISTU, Beijing Union University, North China Electric Power University, Central University of Finance and Economics, representatives of vocational education institutions including Beijing Polytechnic College and Beijing Information Technology College, representatives of middle schools and primary schools based in Changping, representatives of research institutions including China National Academy of Educational Sciences, Publishing House of Electronics Industry, and Xinhua Net, and representatives of enterprises based in Changping.
