Beijing, 6th December 2022 (BISTU)--- Annual academic conferences of Beijing Municipal Key Laboratory of Green Development and Big Data-based Decision Making and Beijing International Science & Technology Collaboration Base on Intelligent Decision Making and Big Data Application were held via video links on 5th December 2022.  

The Conferences were attended by Director Yang Shanlin of Academic Committee of the Laboratory (academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Hefei University of Technology), Director Tang Lixin of the Base (academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and professor of Northeastern University), President Liu Chengyong of  China National Archives of Publications and Culture, Professor Hua Zhongsheng of Zhejiang University, Director Shan Zhiguang of Informationization and Industry Development Department of the State Information Center, and Director Zhang Lin of Beijing Municipal Center of Big Data.  

BISTU faculties and staff attending the Conferences included Vice President Yu Shijie, Vice President Chen Xin, Director Qu Li of International Cooperation Department, Executive Vice Dean Wang Xingfen of Postgraduate School, Director Ge Xinquan of the Lab, Director Zhang Jian of the Base (Director of Office for Scientific Research), Secretary Zhang Jian of CPC BISTU School of Economics and Management Commission, Executive Vice Dean Jin Chunhua of BISTU School of Economics and Management, etc.  

Yu Shijie announced the expert name list for academic committees of Beijing Municipal Key Laboratory of Green Development and Big Data-based Decision Making and Beijing International Science & Technology Collaboration Base on Intelligent Decision Making and Big Data Application. 

Following warm welcome and sincere thanks to Academician Yang Shanlin and Academician Tang Lixin and other experts, Chen Xin offered an introduction of BISTU in respect of educational history, educational features, development of academic disciplines, and research achievements.

Academic conferences were respectively chaired by Academician Yang Shanlin and Academician Tang Lixin. Zhang Jian delivered a report on basic information, latest progresses, and future planning of the Lab and the Base.  

Assessments were made by academic committee members on work of the Lab and the Base and spoke highly of achievements they have made. They also produced suggestions for future improvements in the future. Based on the demand of national development and social economic development of Beijing, the Base and the Lab would invest more efforts in research, strengthen innovation in theories, enhance global collaboration, and facilitate integration of different academic disciplines home and abroad. It was convinced that the Lab and the Base would provide powerful support for talent cultivation, academic research, and approval of doctoral programs of the University.
