Beijing, 23rd February 2023 (BISTU)--- Associate Professor Zhu Jing and lecturer Lu Lidan from School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering were officially selected by Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), according to the notice published by CAST recently.  

The Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program (YESS) has been implemented by the China Association for Science and Technology since October 2015. It vigorously supports young scientific and technological talents under the age of 32 with excellent innovation ability and development potential and helps them make outstanding achievements in the golden age of creativity.  

Zhu Jing is currently master supervisor and association professor at School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering. Her research interests include detection and measurement system and devices of opto-electronic systems. She has chaired and contributed to over 20 projects of provincial level or state level, such as projects sponsored by Beijing Municipal Natural Science Foundation, Key Project of Science and Technology by Beijing Municipal Educational Commission, etc. In addition to over 20 academic essays published, she is a winner of third prize in technological invention by Chinese Society for Optical Engineering and the author of 2 monographs.   

Lu Lidan is currently a lecturer at School of Instrumentation Science and Opto-electronics Engineering. She has chaired 1 project sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation, 1 sub-project of a state-level key R&D project, 1 key science and technology project sponsored by State Grid, and 1 project sponsored by Beijing Municipal Educational Commission. She has also published over 10 essays (SCI) and been granted 5 patents.
