Beijing, 25th March 2025 (BISTU)--- Elsevier published the list of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers on 25th March 2025. As one of the important indexes for academic influence, the list provided an accurate projection of core competitiveness of a university or research institution in relating key areas.

The 2024 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers gathered 6,388 scholars from 547 universities, companies, and research institutions, covering 83 first-tier academic disciplines in 10 areas. Prof. He Wei was named 2024 Most Cited Chinese Researchers for his exceptional research performance in the field of Control Science and Engineering.

The list was based on Scopus and the statistic method developed by ShanghaiRanking. Having been published for 11 years in a row, it is a full reflection of research competence and global academic influence of researchers listed.
