On a recent published result on excellent projects awards of municipal philosophy and social sciences research, BISTU has two projects listed as the sliver prize winners, i.e.,  Quantitative Measures on Garbage Reduction in Metropolis by Prof. Ge Xinquan, and Theory on Industry Integration vs Chinese Seed Industry Integration by Prof. Hou Junqi.   

Excellent projects awards of municipal philosophy and social sciences research is a government award sponsored by Beijing Municipal Council and Beijing Municipal Government. It aims at encouraging social researchers to conduct positive academic research and promote theoretical innovation so as to serve the socio-economic development of Beijing. It began in 1987 and was awarded every two years. It is the highest honour in the field of philosophy and social sciences research in Beijing Municipality.
