Beijing, 19th December 2025 (BISTU)--- Jing Xiaoli and Wang Liyong were selected for 2025 Beijing High-level Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Support Plan, according to the notice published by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission and Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park.
Jing Xiaoli was selected for Fundamental Research Talent Program of the Plan, which provides steady support with young talents who have made outstanding achievements in natural sciences. Wang Liyong was selected for High-end Leading Talent Cultivation Program, which focuses on frontier, cross-disciplinary projects with clarified application scenarios.
BISTU would continue to perfect high-level research platforms to provide support for faculty members to make BISTU-marked contributions to building Beijing into a center of international science and technology innovation.

Jing Xiaoli, a professor of BISTU, mainly engages in micro-nano optics and intellisense. She has published as the first author or corresponding author 12 essays on Nature Communications, Opto-Electronic Advances, Light Science & Applications, etc. “Metasurface-Based Three-Dimensional Imaging Technique” (as the only first author) was nominated for “2023 Ten Major Progresses in Optics in China”. She has chaired a number of state-level and provincial-level projects and was selected for China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Young Talent Support Project.

Wang Liyong, a professor and Ph.D. supervisor of BISTU, honored as Outstanding Young Teacher of Beijing-based Universities, is the head of Mechanism and Machine Theory, a state-level first-class undergraduate course. He is Executive Deputy Director of MOE Key Laboratory of Modern Measurement & Control Technology and Deputy Director of Institution of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment of CMES. His research interests include transmission design for unmanned vehicle equipment, and autonomous health and safety regulation technologies. He has chaired over 30 projects of state level or provincial level and published over 60 journal articles, two monographs, and one textbook, in addition to 26 invention patents (of which 13 have been transferred). He is also the winner of the First Prize in Science and Technology Progress granted by China Instrument and Control Society and other awards granted by industrial associations.
