Beijing, 13th February 2023 (BISTU)--- Organized by BISTU-based Beijing Key Lab of Electromechanical System Measurement and Control, the 3rd Standing Member Conference for the 10th Session of Equipment Intelligent Operations and Maintenance Branch CMES (China Mechanical Engineering Society) was successfully held from 11th to 13th February in Beijing. The Conference saw 42 standing members from 30 universities, 6 enterprises, and 6 research institutions and was chaired by Branch Director Lin Jing, professor of Beihang University. Prof. Wang Liyong of BISTU delivered a report as Deputy Director of the Branch.
The Conference firstly reviewed qualifications of new members and standing members and reached consent that 4 standing members were added and that 37 experts and scholars were accepted as new members of the Branch. Director Lin Jing of the Branch presented letters of appointment for new standing members. Prof. Yan Ruqiang, Director of International Center for Machinery of Xi’an Jiaotong University, offered an introduction to preparations for the first 2023 (International) Equipment Intelligent Operations and Maintenance, followed by explanations by Researcher Zhao Zhihai, a standing member from China Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT).
Keynote reports were delivered by Chief Scientist Cao Ming from AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine, Co., Ltd., Deputy Director Zhang Zhigao (Senior Engineer) of National Engineering Lab in High-speed Trains of CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd., and Deputy Director Zhang Jinle of Test Center of China North Vehicle Research Institute respectively on operations and maintenance of aircraft engines, rail transport vehicles, and special vehicles.

Centering on future development of intelligent operations and maintenance of equipment, standing members exchanged ideas in the field of academic communication, corporate service, technical skills accreditation, talent training, and development of young talents. Discussions laid more focus on orientation, objective, configuration, evidence, and pathway of equipment intelligent operations and maintenance, with topics covering technical and managerial issues concerning future development of intelligent operations and maintenance.
Prof. Lin Jing extended gratitude to all suggestions and proposals and commented that the Branch would be dedicated to development of equipment intelligent operations and maintenance in China, which could boost industrial technological progress and make contributions to great rejuvenation of Chinese nation.
