BISTU Organized the Second Young Scholar Academic Forum of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment

Beijing, 14th April 2025 (BISTU)--- Hosted by Institution of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) and organized by Beijing Key Laboratory of Electrical Electronic System Measurement and Control at BISTU, the Second Young Scholar Academic Forum of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment commenced on 11th April 2025 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.

Director Lin Jing of Institution of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment of CMES (professor of Beihang University) addressed the opening ceremony. Prof. Wang Liyong, Deputy Director of Institution of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment of CMES and Deputy Director of BISTU Department of Human Resources, chaired the meeting.

The Meeting announced 56 members of the 11th session of young scholar committee of Institution of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment. Letters of appointment were presented to the members by Deputy Director Yang Shixi, Deputy Director Ma Biao, and Deputy Director Wang Huaqing of the Institution.

Prof. Yan Ruqiang from Xi’an Jiaotong University delivered an academic report titled “From Knowledge Graphs to Explainable Diagnosis: A Hybrid ML Framework”. Prof. He Qingbo from Shanghai Jiaotong University delivered an academic report titled "Arbitrary-Order Harmonic Signal Analysis and Fault Diagnosis Application in Gear Transmission Systems".

Research projects and findings were also shared by Prof. Chen Zaigang from Southwest Jiaotong University, Associate Professor Wang Dong from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Prof. Feng Ke from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Associate Professor Wang Teng from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Prof. Hu Minghui from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Dr. Lu Dongzhen from Wenzhou University, and Associate Professor Hua Jiadong from Beihang University.

Group academic discussions were organized on personal research interests, career development, academic exchanges, international academic conferences, and young scholar seminars. Associate Research Fellow Wu Jianpeng of BISTU joined the discussions.

Young scholars toured laboratories and research facilities of Ningbo Institute of Technology of Beihang University.

The Forum facilitated exchanges and communication and deepened mutual understanding among young scholars in the field of intelligent operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in various universities, industries, and teams.

BISTU, as the university with which the Secretariat of Institution of Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Manufacturing Equipment of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society is affiliated, will continue to provide due support to build a platform of exchange and communication for young scholars, aiming to promote innovative development and technological advancement.
