Beijing, 26th July, 2021 (BISTU)—   The 2021 Training and Research Summer Camp on “Unmanned Formula Car”， sponsored by Academic Affairs’ Office and Ministerial Key Lab of Modern Measurement and Control Technology and organized by School of Electromechanical Engineering and Municipal Key Lab of Measurement and Control of Electromechanical System, welcomes the opening ceremony on Xiaoying Campus on 24^th July 2021. The Ceremony is hosted by Research Fellow Wu Guoxin, Secretary of CPC Measurement and Control Key Lab Branch.

Vice President Zhang Lin addresses the Opening Ceremony. He offers positive comments on the courageous exploration of the Labs and encourages students to cherish this precious opportunity of training and doing research. Knowledge and skills in intelligent drive, offered on the Summer Camp, would provide students with additional strengthen in making contributions to our nation and to industries. Says Zhang Lin.

Details on the training and research summer camp are explained by Director Wang Liyong of Municipal Key Lab of Measurement and Control of Electromechanical System. Dean Huang Min of School of Electromechanical Engineering offers an introduction to the new mode of talent cultivation in the School. New measures on deepening educational reform and strengthening coordinated education are introduced by Deputy Director Wu Yingnian of Academic Affairs’ Office.

The 2021 Training and Research Summer Camp on “Unmanned Formula Car” aims at implementing the spirit of national and municipal educational conferences, steering conference of universities of China, and BISTU 2021 conference on undergraduate education. The Summer Camp will provide a series of academic seminars and lectures with trainings on professional knowledge in relating fields. Trainees would have more opportunities to get access to academic research, labs, and professional teams so that their innovative and hands-on skills will be comprehensively strengthened.
