Rangsit University Visited BISTU

Beijing, 9th April 2026 (BISTU)--- Vice President Zhang Jian met with the delegation of Rangsit University on 9th April 2026. Dean Li Zhuo of College of International Education hosted the discussion on deepening collaboration between the two universities.

Zhang Jian extended warm welcome to Rangsit University delegation. He talked about progresses of the University in the past year in respect of global exchange and communication, school-local government collaboration, and international education. Office of Global Affairs was newly established. The philosophy of running “global educational affairs” is taking the place of conducting traditional “international exchange and communication”, a symbol of BISTU’s strategic transformation from participation in international education to integration in a globalized system of education. He added that the University would continue to build “a globalized BISTU”.

Vice President Pitchayaphant Charnbhumidol of Rangsit University expressed thanks to the warm reception and spoke highly of the achievements that BISTU has made in school-running, university governance, and global education. He expressed that the joint program of dual degree for international students is a milestone of cooperation between the two institutions. He is convinced that Sino-Thai educational and cultural exchange and communication would be deepened. He added that Rangsit University welcomes BISTU students for study and exchange.

A plaque awarding ceremony was then held on Rangsit University being a strategic partner of BISTU in international education and international admissions.

Both institutions conducted discussions and reached consensus of cooperation in a number of areas, including talent cultivation, faculty collaboration, and globalization of industry-education integration on master-level education in the field of logistics engineering and management, news and communication, business administration, etc.

The meeting and discussions were attended by faculty and staff of BISTU Office of Global Affairs, Business School, and College of International Education.
