Beijing, 12th April, 2021 (BISTU)— The appointment ceremony for guest professor Qin Rongsheng, a CPPCC National Committee member and President of Beijing National Accounting Institute, successfully completes on Xiaoying Campus on 12th April 2021. The ceremony is attended by President Wang Yongsheng, directors of General Administration Office, Human Resources Office, deans and secretaries of School of Information Management, chairs of Department of Auditing of the School, and faculties of Department of Auditing and is hosted by Director Xie Xinwei of Human Resources Office.
Wang Yongsheng extends warm welcome and sincere gratitude to Prof. Qin Rongsheng for accepting the appointment as a guest professor of BISTU. He offers an introduction to the University on history, academic disciplines, academic research, resettlement and construction of the New Campus, preparations for approval of doctoral programs. Wang Yongsheng expresses that Prof. Qin Rongsheng is a renowned expert in the field of auditing. This appointment has important implications for development of auditing as an academic discipline. It is expected that the two institutions would strengthen collaboration to pursue long term development.
Qin Rongsheng says it is an honor to be appointed as a guest professor of BISTU and extends thanks to all faculties and staff for their work. Following his introduction to Beijing National Audition Institute in respect of academic research and achievements, he expresses that BISTU enjoy salient advantages in computerized auditing and has nurtured a large quantity of excellent talents. He expects to work closely together with faculties and students of BISTU to facilitate development of auditing.

Qin Rongsheng, born in Suzhou of Jiangsu Province, is currently a CPPCC National Committee member and President of Beijing National Accounting Institute. He is also a professor and Ph.D. supervisor of the Institute who enjoy special allowances from State Council. His major research interests include theories of macroeconomics, corporate governance, capital operation, and information disclosure of listed companies. As of today, he has published 38 books including On Accountability, Studies on Information Disclosure of Listed Companies, Auditing, etc. and 482 journal articles on periodicals such as Economic Research Journal, Journal of Financial Research, Auditing Research, etc. His major research projects includes Analysis of Malpractices of Listed Companies, Listing Issues of State-owned Commercial Banks, etc.
