Beijing, 25th May 2023 (BISTU)--- The 2023 RCAP (RoboCup Asia-Pacific Confederation) Tianjin Invitational Tournament of 2023 RoboCup was held from 20th to 21st May 2023 in Tianjin. As one of the most influential robotic competitions, the Competition attracted teams from all over the world. Water, the BISTU robotics team, won three gold medals with its outstanding performance.  

Team members of Water were from three BISTU schools, i.e., School of Electromechanical Engineering, School of Automation, and School of Computer Science. They worked closely, coordinately together and performed exceptionally in the Competition.  

Outstanding ability of robotic design and intelligent control of Water team members was fully shown in the Competition. Their robots displayed superb techniques and optimized strategies in soccer competition. Facing with fierce competition from a Japanese team, they finally beat the opponent with 9 to 0 based on their indomitable will and strong team spirit.  

Winning the honor symbolized Water’s leading position in robotic competitions. It also enhanced the reputation of Chinese robotic technology in the world and showed great potential in research and development of robotics in China.
