Beijing, 3rd August 2022 (BISTU)--- BISTU delegation headed by Vice President Chen Xin visited China Mobile International Information Port on 3rd August 2022 to facilitate substantial collaboration between two institutions in respect of academic research. The meeting was attended by General Management Han Fengyi of Construction and Development Company of China Mobile International Information Port and related directors of the Port as well as BISTU faculties and staff, including Assistant to VP Lin Guoce, directors of Asset Management Division, Office for Scientific Research, Office for New Campus Construction, Office of Management Committee of New Campus.  

Chen Xin pointed out that BISTU as a whole was about to move into the New Campus, symbolizing a new departure for the University to build a high level university with distinctive features in information technology. We would lay emphasis on new generation information technology, intelligent equipment, artificial intelligence, software, and information service. Research labs of the University would be set up in the Port aiming at building win-win collaboration for both institutions.  

Following an introduction to China Mobile International Information Port, Han Fengyi pointed out that China Mobile International Information Port was an important sector for China Mobile to enhance independent innovation and social informationization. The Port would serve as an important platform of service for innovative development and joint research of the University. It was expected that both institutions would collaborate in a wide spectrum of areas to facilitate technological innovation in Beijing.  

Detailed discussions on future collaboration in respect of labs and other issues were conducted by both institutions.
