Beijing, 19th May, 2021 (BISTU)—  BISTU delegation headed by Vice President Fang Deying visits Xi’an University of Technology (XAUT) on 16th and 17th May 2021 to conduct survey on construction of university history gallery and archive management. The delegation also aims at examining historical documentation of early times and sharing experiences in applying historical documentation in modern times. Vice President Shen Yehua of XAUT, together with directors of relating divisions, meets with BISTU delegation.  

Starting from “construction of five environments”, Fang Deying introduces some features of university history gallery at BISTU. He says that BISTU and XAUT, as sister schools sharing the same historical tradition, would strengthen communication and explore cooperation in a wider spectrum.  

Shen Yehua offers an introduction to brief history and basic information of XAUT. Experiences of XAUT history gallery, archive management, and digitalization of documentation are shared by relating XAUT directors.  

Both institutions then exchange ideas on future collaboration and then BISTU delegation makes an on-the-spot observation of archive gallery and university history gallery of XAUT.  

The visit effectively enhances communication and exchange between BISTU and XAUT and obtains beneficial references and implications for building BISTU university history gallery and archive management.
