Beijing, 26th May 2025 (BISTU)--- Chairperson Xie Jiangling of BISTU University Council and Principal Wang Hua of the Second High School Attached to BNU attended the signing ceremony of the agreement between the two institutions on jointly nurturing pioneering talents of digitelligence on 26th May 2025 at Shahe Campus.

Xie Jiangling expressed warm welcome to the Second High School Attached to BNU delegation and produced a brief introduction about BISTU in respect of history, campuses, educational characteristics, and research strengths. He commented that the University has been building a talent cultivation system for globalized outstanding talents via construction of a series of innovation platforms, such as Qin Xin Honors College, Tianshu Academy, College of Future Digitelligence Industry, etc. Cooperation with the Second High School Attached to BNU on continuous talent cultivation aimed to explore new patterns for seamless connection between middle school education and university education so as to build a new paradigm of nurturing pioneering outstanding talents for AI Plus era. Xie said.

Wang Hua spoke highly of educational strengths, characteristics in academic disciplines, and the student-centered educational philosophy of BISTU. He expressed that the Second High School Attached to BNU, as a leading school in innovative development of basic education in Beijing, has been promoting digital transformation and curricular innovation. He added that the agreement would enable resources sharing and organic connection between basic education and higher education.

Witnessed by Xie Jiangling and Wang Hua, Vice President Wang Xingfen and Director Cheng Hairong of International Affairs of the Second High School Attached to BNU signed the agreement of cooperation.

Prior to the agreement signing ceremony, Wang Xingfen offered a detailed introduction to outstanding talent cultivation system at BISTU in curricular innovation and empowerment of scientific and technological competitions in students’ growth.

The Second High School Attached to BNU delegation visited facilities of Shahe Campus such as exhibition of research achievements and the university library.

The signing ceremony was attended by faculty members of the Second High School Attached to BNU, i.e., Director Liu Xiaohui of Digital Support Center and Deputy Director Li Shu of Teaching Department, and BISTU faculty members, including Zheng Yanpu, Assistant to the President, and directors and deans of the President’s Office, Department of Academic Affairs, Department of Admissions and Career Services, and College of Automation (College of Artificial Intelligence).
