Beijing, 28th December 2023 (BISTU)--- The Award Cermeony for International Students of BISTU in 2023, attended by Dean Qu Li, Vice Dean Cai Ying and Vice Dean Hu Zhangyu of International Educational School, successfully concluded at Jianxiangqiao Campus on 26th December 2023.  

Cai Ying announced the name list of award winners. Honor certificates and BIS-Rabbit (BISTU mascot) were presented to winners of Beijing Scholarship and BISTU Scholarship by deans and faculty representatives of the School.  

As a representative of award winners, Juliana Chintami from Indonesia shared happy learning experiences and expressed her sincere gratitude to faculties and schoolmates who have supported and helped her.  

Juliana specially talked about Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway. China has made outstanding contributions to high quality development in respect of jointly promoting the Belt and Road Initiative. It was a pleasure and pride to study here. Juliana said. She hoped that all international students would enjoy learning and living at BISTU and build a better future. She would share what she saw and felt with Indonesian people and would be delighted to be the ambassador of Sino-Indonesian friendship. She added.  

Dean Qu Li, on behalf of the School of International Education, extended warm congratulations to all award winners and expressed thanks to all faculties and staff for their hard work. She encouraged students to keep going for the bright future of all.   

The 2024 New Year Party followed the award ceremony. International students showed their talents in a variety of field and won applauses of all audiences. The Party heard beautiful English songs performed by Morocco students, enjoyed dances contributed by Kyrgyzstan students, appreciated guitar ensemble performed by Russian students, Thai songs by Thailand students and French rap by Cote d'Ivoire students, in addition to chorus performed by faculties of International Education School and improvised performance of audiences.  

The award ceremony and party was joined by all faculties and staff of International Education School and all international students.
