BISTU and Abu Dhabi University Explore Cooperative Ties

Beijing, 26th February 2025 (BISTU)—— BISTU and Abu Dhabi University held a video meeting on 25th February 2025 to explore cooperative ties. The meeting was hosted by Director Li Zhuo of Department of International Affairs (Dean of International Education College).

Li Zhuo offered an introduction to BISTU educational features, global cooperation planning, and areas to be explored by both institutions. Dean Hamdi Sheibani of College of Engineering shared school-running achievements and practices in global cooperation and industry-education integration of Abu Dhabi University. Specific issues concerning research platforms and academic disciplines of BISTU were elaborated by faculty and staff of Department of Research, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and College of Automation.

Both parties reached consensus on signing memorandum of cooperation, facilitating globalized industry-education integration, starting programs of faculty and student exchanges, deepening research collaboration, and nurturing joint labs on the Belt and Road Initiative.

The meeting was joined by Chair Adel Khelifi, Prof. Mohammad Alkhedher, and Prof. Jawad Yousaf of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology of College of Engineering, Abu Dhabi University and faculty and staff of Department Research, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, College of Automation, and College of International Education.
