Beijing, 28th October 2023 (BISTU)--- BISTU delegation headed by President Guo Fu visited Schneider Electric (China) Investment Co. Ltd. and met with Vice President Wang Jie of Schneider Electric China to explore future ties.  

  

Guo Fu extended gratitude to President Huang Kan of Beijing Education Association for International Exchange for his sincere invitation and Schneider Electric (China) Investment Co. Ltd. for their warm reception. As one of the industrial pioneers in France and a top global electric company, Schneider Electric holds a leading position in energy and infrastructure, industrial process control, building automation, and data center and network. The Company empowers all to make the most of our energy and resources, bridging progress and sustainability for all. And BISTU has formed distinctive feature in information technology and industries in the past 86 years and made contributions to industrialization and informatization technology. Cooperation between Schneider Electric and BISTU would not only promote industry-teaching integration and science-education integration but also broaden students’ global horizon and enhance their global competence which will ultimately strengthen their global competitiveness. It was hoped that both institutions strengthen communication and explore fresh models of talent cultivation and school-industry collaboration to empower each other and to bring along new momentum to boost integrated development of education, science, and talents. Guo Fu said.  

  

Huang Kan expressed that BISTU has a long history with distinctive feature and research strengths in information technology. A great deal could be explored for cooperation between BISTU and Schneider Electric, such as industry-teaching integration and science-education integration. It was suggested that both institutions could work together in a number of area to build a new model of globalized industry-education cooperation of pioneering spirit.  

  

Vice President Wang Jie of Schneider Electric China offered an introduction to the Company and shared the successful experience of Schneider Electric in energy management and industrial automation as well as the innovative model of working together with higher educational institutions. She expected that further discussion and exploration of future ties would be started from the area of machinery and automation.  

  

Both parties conducted in-depth discussion on energy management, intelligent manufacturing, and talent cultivation.  

  

  

Guo Fu and delegation members also visited the innovation center of Schneider Electric to learn about the experiences and practices of the Company in digitization of global energy management, automation, and sustainable development.
