Beijing, 18th May 2023 (BISTU)--- BISTU Conference on Spurring Employment of Graduating Students successfully completed on 17th May 2023 at Taihanglu Campus. The Conference was attended by Deputy Secretary Wang Wenjie of CPC BISTU Committee, Deputy Director Feng Tianci of Discipline Inspection Office, and deputy secretaries responsible for employment of graduating students at BISTU schools and was chaired by Director Wang Lei of Office for Admissions and Career Consultancy.  

Wang Wenjie produced positive comments on recent progresses with providing support for job hunting with graduating students. He stressed that in the first place the University has paid enough attention to helping graduating students in finding jobs. Office for Admissions and Career Consultancy and all BISTU schools should enhance their political awareness, implement the guidelines of the State Council, Ministry of Education, and Beijing Municipality in employment and entrepreneurship, and link the thematic education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era closely with issues concerning providing support with students job hunting. Second, all divisions, offices, and schools of the University should work together to produce more opportunities for students. And third, our aim was to facilitate high-quality employment for students graduating in 2023.  

Wang Lei made some arrangements on providing support with graduating students in job hunting.  

Feng Tianci explained issues related to discipline inspection based on requirement of Beijing Municipal Discipline Inspection Committee of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and arrangements of the University in this regard.  

Deputy Director Qiu Dong of Office for Admissions and Career Consultancy conveyed information and guidelines of national and municipal teleconferences on promoting employment of graduating students.
