Beijing, 27th April, 2016(BISTU)--- Sino-American Logistics Council delegation visited and discussed on cross-border business and business courses to be delivered fully in English with BISTU faculties and Vice President Xu Baojie.

Xu Baojie extends warmest welcome to the distinguished guests and brief introduces historical development and current progress of BISTU. Xu Baojie points out that globalization has always been a focus of the University and it is hoped that BISTU could work together with Sino-American Logistics Council to achieve mutual beneficial successes.
Li Qian, Secretary General of the Council expresses that development of logistics is closely connected to information technology and thus the Council is highly optimistic about prospectus of the cooperation with BISTU. Meanwhile, promotion of cooperative projects of education is one of the seven major missions of the Council. And the Council, aiming at this goal, has developed a number of projects, including building up multi-dimensional platforms, faculties training home and abroad, short-term student exchange, etc. Li Qian also hopes that BISTU could participate in Globalized Talents on Information Technology and Supply Chain of the Belt and Road Initiative to better contribute to realization of the national belt and road strategic, promotion of trade and business exchanges between China and countries in the belt and road, and nurturing excellent internationalized professionals.
Xu Baojie expresses that Sino-American Logistics Council is in line with BISTU in terms of talent nurturing orientation. BISTU 13th Five-year Plan is also emphasizing on nurturing talents with practical competence, innovative spirit, and international horizon.
Wang Xingfen offers information on undergraduate education and School of International Education. BISTU is going global via a number of pathways and exploring new globalized form of education in respect of institution, funding and management, e.g., faculty cooperating with international enterprises, 1+1 learning partnership between undergraduate students and international students, etc. Said Wang Xingfen. Sino-American Logistics Council also exchanges ideas and intentions of cooperation with Vice Dean Xu Xiaomin of Information Management and Vice Dean Qu Li of Economics and Management. And it is set that from 23rd May to 5th June 2016 two experts of Sino-American Logistics Council will conduct feature seminar for the two schools on topics of Rebuilding Supply Chain by Information Technology and Relating Laws of International Trade.

Xu Baojie concludes that BISTU and Sino-American Logistics Council have a lot in common and are enjoying a number of favorable elements of cooperation. He hopes the following cooperative projects will be conducted and further cooperation of various forms in different fields be explored.
