BISTU achieves a new progress in the build_up of its talent workforce. Chen Yong, a teacher from School of Electromechanical Engineering was included into The Great Wall Scholar Training Plan; Professor Zhu Lianqing from School of Instrumentation Science and Photoelectric Engineering, Professor Zhang Yangsen from School of Computer Science were both included into the Enhancement Plan of Innovative Team Building; 11 teachers including Hao Yuxin were listed into the Training Plan of Young Top Talents.

In the year of 2012, Beijing Municipal Commission of Education launched the application process for the above projects and planned to select 50  Great Wall scholars, 20 innovative teams and 200 young top talents.
