Beijing, 26th June 2025 (BISTU)--- China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) delegation headed by Jiang Zeting, Chair of the University Council, visited BISTU on 26th June 2025. Chairperson Xie Jiangling of BISTU University Council met with Jiang Zeting and delegation members.

Following the warm welcome and an introduction to BISTU in educational history, academic progress, research strengths, etc., Xie Jiangling spoke highly of the achievements that CUPL has made. He pointed out that CUPL has been playing an important role in advancing the rule of law in China and its practices offer valuable insights for the development of BISTU. It was expected that both institutions strengthen communication and exchange to promote cooperation in respect of AI empowerment of talent cultivation, joint research, building intelligent campus, staff development, and faculty and student exchanges.

Jiang Zeting offered an introduction to achievements that CUPL has made in talent cultivation and research practices guided by Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law. Jiang Zeting pointed out that BISTU, with its characteristics in information technology and academic strengths in big data and artificial intelligence, has tremendously contributed to informationization and digital transformation of China. The two universities, based on complementary strengths, could work together for the goal of building China into a leading nation in education, science and technology, and talent development.

The meeting was attended by Vice President Wang Hongsong of CUPL, Vice President Li Huatao of BISTU, and directors and deans of departments and colleges of both universities.
