Beijing, 18th December 2025 (BISTU)--- Energy China (Beijing) Energy Research Institute Company Limited delegation headed by General Manager Guo Haifeng visited BISTU and signed strategic cooperative agreement on industry-learning-research coordination on 17th December 2025. Vice President Chen Xin addressed the ceremony hosted by Chairperson Ying Shuzhi of College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Council.

Chen Xin extended warm welcome to Guo Haifeng and offered an introduction to the University in respect of historical development, academic disciplines, research strengths, and achievements in talent cultivation. He pointed out that BISTU has been committed to serving national and regional development and attached great importance to school-enterprise cooperation. Based on the academic strengths of BISTU in mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, and intelligent manufacturing, the cooperation between the two institutions was expected to be conducted in respect of R&D, talent cultivation, and commercialization of research findings. Chen Xin said.

Guo Haifeng expressed thanks for the warm reception. Following an introduction to Energy China (Beijing) Energy Research Institute Company Limited, he expressed that the two parties are in high agreement with each other in energy technology research and intelligent operation. Science and technological innovation could be promoted through cooperation in the area of artificial intelligent, energy, and equipment. He added.

Both institutions exchanged ideas on future cooperation, coordinated research, and joint cultivation of talents. Chen Xin and Guo Haifeng unveiled “Center for School-enterprise Joint Research” and “Joint talent Cultivation Base for Education-Industry Integration”. Then the two institutions signed a strategic agreement of cooperation and an agreement on learning, research, and development of artificial intelligence.

The meeting and signing ceremony were attended by staff members of Energy China (Beijing) Energy Research Institute Company Limited and faculty of College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
