China Mobile International Information Port Delegation Visited BISTU New Campus

Beijing, 31st October 2022 (BISTU)--- Delegation of China Mobile International Information Port headed by Deputy General Manager Dan Changpeng and Manager Wang Li of Administration Department visited BISTU New Campus on 27th October 2022. Vice President Chen Xin met with the delegation and hosted the meeting on collaboration attended by directors of Office for Scientific Research, Division of Asset Management, Logistics Department, Office for New Campus Construction, and Office of Management Committee of the New Campus.

Chen Xin pointed out that the University now was on a new starting point, following the successfully completion of celebration of the 85th anniversary. Laying emphasis on network technology, digital technology, and information technology, the University would further develop new generation of information technology, intelligent equipment, artificial intelligence, software, and information service. Quite some research areas and research interests of BISTU faculties were in accord with development of the Information Port, which indicated a great room for possible collaboration between the two parties in respect of commercialization of research achievements and incubation of relating enterprises. Substantive progress has been made on cooperation between both institutions in the field of joint research projects, joint base for field teaching, joint research labs, etc. It was expected that both institutions would continue deepening collaboration to build a science and technology center with distinctive features in information technology.

Dan Changpeng offered an introduction to China Mobile International Information Port. He pointed out that China Mobile International Information Port now was building a supporting system for centralized operation of China Mobile to improve international competitiveness of information industry in China. China Mobile International Information Port would like to offer high quality service platform for innovative development of BISTU. It was hoped that both institutions would further consolidate the strategic partnership, establish a mechanism for periodic communication, and cooperation on key projects.   

Agreement of cooperation was signed following the meeting.
