Beijing, 29th January 2022, (BISTU)--- As one of the co-sponsors, BISTU sends the delegation headed by President Wang Yongsheng to attend the inauguration ceremony of Advanced Innovation Center for Future Block-chain & Privacy Computing which was established in 28th January 2022. Delegation members of BISTU include Vice President Chen Xin, Director Zhang Jian of Office for Scientific Research, and Deputy Director Fan Junfang of the Office.

The inauguration ceremony is hosted by Wang Yunpeng, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Vice President of Beihang University. And the Center is unveiled jointly by Director Liu Yuhui of Beijing Municipal Educational Commission, Academician Xu Huibin (President of Beihang University), Academician Zheng Zhiming of Chinese Academy of Science, Dean Dong Jin of Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing. Attendants of the inauguration ceremony also include Deputy Liu Changan of Beijing Municipal Educational Commission, Executive Vice Mayor Yang Renquan of Changping District, President Qiao Jianyong of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, President Wang Yaoqi of Central University of Finance and Economics, and representatives of related commissions and bureaus of Beijing Municipality.  

Organized by Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing of Beihang University, Advanced Innovation Center for Future Block-chain & Privacy Computing is the very first center of the kind in Beijing aimed at facilitating development of digital economy. It is also the first innovation center of the world in Blockchain and privacy computing jointly established by BISTU, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Central University of Finance and Economics, and Digital Currency Research Institute of the People's Bank of China.  

A number of university-based advanced innovation centers would be established by Beijing Municipal Educational Commission in respect of new generation information technology, integrated circuit, biomedicine, health and nutrition, emission peak and carbon neutrality, and smart equipment manufacturing. It is aimed at serving substantial, strategic demand of our nation and enhancing integrated innovation in both fundamental theoretical research and technological breakthroughs. Universities are further encouraged to cultivate inter-disciplinary talents of innovative thinking so as to provide substantive support with the goal of building Beijing as an international innovation center for science and technology.  

Taking the opportunity of establishment of Advanced Innovation Center for Future Block-chain & Privacy Computing, BISTU will lay focus on the 14th Five Year Plan to build high level research platforms and high level research teams to facilitate development of research projects and commercialization of research achievements while making due contributions to Beijing goal of building an international innovation center.
