The mild and fragrant autumn of 2013 celebrated the opening ceremony of 2013 MBA students on Xiaoying Campus on 7^th September. Present on the ceremony was Prof.Han Qiushi, Vice President of BISTU, administration of School of Economics and Management, and all 2013 MBA students.  

In his welcoming speech, Prof. Han Qiushi extended his warmest greetings to all 2013 MBA students. He briefly introduced BISTU progress in research and MBA education. He further pointed out that MBA has become a feature programme of BISTU, aiming at nurturing students in making contribution to social and economic development of the nation.  

Yang Kongyu, Vice Dean of Postgraduate School explained orientation of BISTU MBA education, the concept and practice of students-centered, the combination of soft skills and hard knowledge, etc.  

Prof. Ge Xinquan, Dean of Economics and Management School, said the School has prepared profound resources for MBA education. Faculties were including not only senior staff members but also entrepreneurs from famous companies. MBA education strongly combined academic study with industry and offered a series of opportunities with the students in respect of extra-curricular activities, overseas exchange, industry internship, etc.  

Prof. Liang Xuling, representative of supervisors, promised that all faculties will work hard together with students and make a even better MBA education.  

As the student representatives, Hu Haiyang and Chen Feiyan expressed their thanks to BISTU. They were determined to adhere to the principle of  “Diligence in Learning, Honour for Life”.  

In the next section of the ceremony, Jin Chunhua, Deputy Head of MBA Center explained in detail the regulations and rules.
