Beijing, 22nd July 2025 (BISTU)--- Vice President Xiao Zhisong met with Virscend University delegation headed by Prof. Cihan Cobanoglu, Provost and Executive Vice President, on 21st July 2025.

On behalf of the University, Xiao Zhisong extended warm welcome to the delegation and offered an introduction to BISTU in respect of educational features, research strengths, talent cultivation, globalized education, and employment of graduating students. Xiao Zhisong pointed out that BISTU hoped to strengthen cooperation with Virscend University to explore the empowerment of artificial intelligent in traditional management and business studies. Students and faculty of Virscend University are welcome to visit BISTU for exchange and communication purposes. Xiao said.

Prof. Cihan Cobanoglu expressed thanks to the warm reception. Virscend University, he said, as a young university, attaches great importance to establish global links with world educational institutions. He expected that both institutions would build up friendly ties and make substantive progress in faculty exchange, academic exchange and communication, and joint research.

Both institutions conducted in-depth discussions on details of future cooperation in faculty exchange, student exchange, joint research, publication of research journal articles, etc.

The meeting and discussions were joined by directors and deans of Department of International Affairs, College of Management Science and Engineering, Business School, and College of International Education.
