Beijing, 24th May 2024 (BISTU)--- Prof. Han Honggui of Beijing University of Technology delivered an academic report on 23rd May 2024 at BISTU on “Intelligent recycling, disassembly, and reuse of home appliances”, part of the Academician Seminar for BISTU faculty and students. 

Aiming at the highlighted problems about home appliances in respect of recycling and reuse, Prof. Han Honggui explained key technologies concerning evaluation, credibility tracking, and recycling of home appliances inclusive of digital household appliances. It would effectively improve the efficiency of recycling, disassembly, and reuse of home appliances, reduce environmental pollution, and promote technological advancement in the industry. 

The academic report, with both practical implications and academic value, won rounds of applauses from faculty and students attending the seminar. 

About Han Honggui: 

Han Honggui is currently a professor and a Ph.D. supervisor of Beijing University of Technology. His research interests include theories and key technologies concerning optimized control and operations of complex systems. He is a chief scientist of a state-level key R&D project, a winner of winner of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a winner of National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, a young scientist of Chinese Association of Automation, a winner of Young Beijing Scholar, a winner of Outstanding Young Scientist in Beijing-based Universities, the Director of “Digital Community” MOE Engineering Research Center, and the Director of Municipal Key Laboratory of Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Systems.
