Beijing, 12th December 2025 (BISTU)--- Vice President Xiao Zhisong met with Capital Normal University delegation headed by Vice President Li Hailiang on 12th December 2025.

Xiao Zhisong extended warm welcome to Li Hailiang and delegation members and offered a brief introduction to innovative measures of BISTU in cultivation of globalized talents. Sharing the successful experience in obtaining approval on Sino-foreign joint educational institution, Xiao Zhisong pointed out that Capital Normal University has established a mature system of globalized education based on academic strengths. Facing with the changing times, higher educational institutions need to nurture a globalized atmosphere for education. Educational globalization would work as a bridge to facilitate talent introduction and development of academic disciplines. Xiao Zhisong added that the two universities are in high agreement with each other in the globalized philosophy of education. It was hoped that resource sharing would be strengthened to jointly improve the quality of globalized talent cultivation.

Li Hailiang introduced the traditional practices, characteristics, and development planning of educational globalization at Capital Normal University. He commented that BISTU has made remarkable progresses in educational globalization with forward thinking and sound planning. He pointed out that both institutions would have a lot to explore in proving quality education with international students. It was expected that both institutions would work together to build an alliance of complementary support to achieve coordinated development. Li Hailiang added.

Both institutions conducted discussion on practices and theories of nurturing globalized talents and explored possible solutions to relating problems.

The meeting and discussion were joined by Director Wang Lihua of Office for International Cooperation and Exchange and directors and deans of BISTU Department of International Affairs and College of International Education.
