Prof. Xu Baojie, Vice President of BISTU, congratulated on the successful completion of summer abroad (Germany) study progamme for Pilot Class of Excellence on 5th September 2013. Also present was Academic Affairs Office, Department of International Exchange, School of Computer Science, and School of Information and Communication Engineering.   

This Germany programme for Pilot Class of Excellence is the first try of BISTU at BISTU in respect of students-centered overseas short-term study and training. It targeted at implementation of open university ideas and enhancing international exchange and communication for undergraduate students. This programme also aimed at expanding the channels of students exchange, broadening their global horizon, raising their international awareness, and improving their hands-on capabilities.  

From the Pilot Classes of BISTU, this programme carefully selected 13 to attend the training from 20th July to 3rd August 2013 in Germany. In addition to regular activities such as learning German language and interaction with international and German students, special activities arranged for the programme included attending technical lectures, communicating with engineers, experiencing German universities, etc. 

Prof. Xu Baojie spoke very positively about this training programme. He encouraged the students to apply what they have learned to practice and to achieve further successes.  

On the meeting, the members concluded on the training programme. They all thought highly of training in such a form, which stimulated them to strive constantly for perfection.
