Beijing, 19^th June, 2015(BISTU)--- Members of Culture, Health, and Sport Commission (CHSC) of National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference visited BISTU on 19^th June 2015 and held a symposium. The members include: Deputy Director-general of CHSC Li Weihong (for Vice Minister of Education), : Deputy Director-general of CHSC Liu Jingmin (former Vice Mayor of Beijing), Standing Member of CHSC Su Shishu, and BISTU professor Zhu Lianqing. The visit were accompanied by Wang Shoufa, Beijing Commission of Culture, Health, and Sport of National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, BISTU Chairman of University Council Zheng Junli, President Liu Gonghui, Vice President Han Qiushi, and Vice President Xu Baojie.   　　 

　　The members visited BISTU’s municipal key labs of sensor technology, biomedical detecting technology and equipment, and electronic-optical detection technology and observed the exhibits of BISTU research achievements and innovative technology achievements of the students.     

　　Talks and exchanges followed the visit. President Liu Gonghui introduced to the members on BISTU, with the focus and details on strengths and features. He also covered the problems and barriers that BISTU has encountered on new campus construction and approval of the right to award doctoral degrees.   

In her address, Li Weihong expressed that the members were touched with the visit, for BISTU has made remarkable achievements with limited conditions. The visit enhanced a better understanding of BISTU and the members would negotiate and help solve the problem that BISTU has encountered in development. It is expected that BISTU sticks to the current pathway and achieves more in the future. Said Li Weihong.  

　　Wang Shoufa extended his thanks to the members for their visiting BISTU on such a rainy day. He hoped that the members would follow BISTU development with interest and help with the approval of the right to award doctoral degrees.
