Beijing, 22nd September 2023 (BISTU)--- BISTU delegation headed by Secretary Xie Jiangling of CPC BISTU Committee and President Guo Fu visited Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing and met with President Dong Jin of the Academy on 21st September.  

Xie Jiangling and Guofu expressed thanks to warm reception of Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing and produced positive comments on achievements in collaboration. They pointed out that BISTU’s strengths in academic research and talent cultivation in respect of information technology and tech-innovation of the Academy complemented each other. Advantageous resources of BISTU and those of the Academy jointly would make great contributions to building Beijing as an international center of innovation for science and technology.  

Dong Jin commented that Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing and BISTU were both supervised by Beijing Municipality and it was natural for both institutions to strengthen collaboration. He pointed out that previous collaboration in privacy computing has proven successful. It was expected that a long-run cooperation mechanism would be established to bring strengths of both institutions into full play.  

Vice President Chen Xin offered an introduction to BISTU and current progress in privacy computing. Vice President Li Fei of Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing offered an introduction to the Academy.  

BISTU Delegation headed by Xie Jiangling and Guo fu also visited the exhibition hall of Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing, followed by an introduction by Dong Jin to products, businesses, R&D of the Academy.  

The visit was also attended by directors of BISTU divisions and offices and secretaries and deans of some BISTU schools.
