Beijing, 27th April 2023 (BISTU)--- BISTU conducted a series of publicity activities, i.e., the Campaign Month for International Exchange and Communication, aiming at thoroughly implementing educational globalization strategy of the University, broadening international horizon of faculties, staff, and students, informing students of partners institutions and cooperative programs, and facilitating high quality employment of graduating students. The events were based on Taihanglu Campus and conducted both online and in various venues. It was the very first offline campaign events since outburst of covid-19 pandemic.  

The campaign month was jointed organized by BISTU International Cooperation Department and Office for Admissions and Career Consultancy. It lasted 49 days, with the first event held on 9th March 2023 and the last event on 26th April 2023. The whole campaign saw 17 meetings on explaning various international exchange programs which covered academic programs of all BISTU schools. More than 400 students attended these events. A number of cooperative programs were introduced to BISTU students for the first time, including 3+1 program at Edinburgh Napier University, 4+X program organized by China Center for International Educational Exchange of China Education Association for International Exchange, theme design workshop on disaster prevention by Chiba University of Japan, etc. Assistant Professor Yu Yanchao of Edinburgh Napier University who graduated from BISTU in 2011 shared his experience on learning abroad and job hunting.  

International Cooperation Department started Campaign Month for international exchange and communication programs in 2016 and 10 events have been successfully organized so far. The Campaign Month has become a brand activity of the University in international exchange. Facing with new situation and new challenges, the University has decided to organize two campaign events per year with an additional section of studying abroad for graduating students.
