BISTU Held First MBA Graduation Ceremony

Graduation ceremony for the first cohort of MBA students was held at Xiaoying Campus on 30th June, 2013. Prof. Zheng Junli, Chairman of University Council, and Professor Liu Gonghui, President of BISTU were present on the ceremony. Distinguished guests also present on the ceremony included BISTU vice presidents Prof. Han Qiushi and Prof. Xu Baojie, Mr. Qiaoweihua---Vice President of Tianjin BENEFO, Mr. Lv Bo---General Manager of Donghua Corporation (DHC) and deans of BISTU School of Economics and Management.

Prof. Han Qiushi announced the list of degree award for MBA students. University senior administration members presented the diploma and degree certificates.  

On behalf of BISTU, Prof. Liu Gonghui delivered the keynote speech. Prof. Liu offered a brief history of MBA programme at BISTU, followed by expectations on this cohort of MBA students. He said that MBA has achieved successive successes and hoped that students took more social responsibilities for the prosperity of the nation.

Mr. Qiao Weihua, representing the work places of MBA students, presented gifts to BISTU. He extended sincere congratulations to the students and heartfelt thanks to all faculties for their hard work in the past two years. In view of the achievements that MBA education has made, he was expecting the school-enterprise cooperation in the near future.  

Mr. Ma Jianming recalled the MBA life at BISTU as representative of students. He specially mentioned that BISTU is the university where “every student perfect themselves with a heart of purity, sincerity, and persistence”. He expressed the resolution of repaying the university and the society with diligence and intelligence.

Prof. Zheng Junli and Prof. Liu Gonghui were pleased to accept the gift  of gratitude presented by 2013 MBA students--- a Tai Mount stone carved with “Deepest Gratitude to BISTU; Everlasting Memory at BISTU”.
