Wang Yongsheng Visited Data Communications Science Technique Research Institute

Beijing, 22nd April 2022 (BISTU)--- BISTU delegation headed by President Wang Yongsheng and attended by Deputy Secretary Zhou Zhicheng of CPC BISTU Committee and Vice President Yu Shijie, visited Data Communications Science Technique Research Institute on 21st April 2022 and met with Director Zhang Zhiheng of the Institute to discuss employment opportunities for graduating students.  

 

Wang Yongsheng offered an introduction to BISTU centering on latest progresses in academic research, talent cultivation, approval of doctoral programs by Ministry of Education, and construction of the New Campus. He pointed out that Data Communications Science Technique Research Institute, as the leading institution of the country, has made eminent achievements in information security and cryptographic communication. It was also where strengths of BISTU stood. It was hoped that both institutions would work together in these areas, based on providing employment opportunities for graduating students and conduct joint academic research, to build a strong partnership.  

 

Following the warm welcome to Wang Yongsheng and BISTU delegation members, Zhang Zhiheng pointed out that BISTU, with a long history in education and far-reaching influence in research, has cultivated quite some outstanding talents for the nation. BISTU graduates have proved that they were diligent, qualified, and responsible and have made important contributions to development of the Institute. He also hoped that both institutions would continue to deepen collaboration in respect of academic research, talent cultivation, and management innovation and that more and more BISTU graduates would join the team of contributing to further development of the Institute.  

 

Assistant to Director Huang Lei of Data Communications Science Technique Research Institute (also General Manager of Human Resources) offered an introduction to the Institute. General Manager Tong Weibing (a BISTU alumnus) of Engineering Service Department shared his working experiences in the Institute. Further discussions were then conducted on deepening school-enterprise collaboration and establishment of long-last mechanisms.  

The meeting and discussions were also attended by faculties and staffers of Data Communications Science Technique Research Institute and deans and directors of BISTU including School of Information and Communication Engineering and School of Computer Science.
