Beijing, 14th May 2022 (BISTU)--- BISTU seminar series on innovation and entrepreneurship, held from 20th April to 12th May 2022, successfully completed. The seminars have invited two experts, i.e., Huang Hua (senior engineer, senior science and technology advisor, and senior financing and investment advisor of Beijing Productivity Promotion Center of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission) and Feng Xiqing (co-founder and investor of Beijing Hongtai Zhizao Workshop Operation Management Co., Ltd.). Explanations were provided on concerns and questions raised by students for the 8th China International “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students.
The two experts shared their experiences in previous Internet Plus competitions with real-life cases of various contests. In all, over 800 students of the University who were preparing for “Internet Plus” competition have attended the seminars online.
As one of the measures of the University in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship of students, “Seminars on Innovation and Entrepreneurship” aimed at inviting outstanding external advisors to offer students instructions in academic subject competitions and innovation and entrepreneurial choices. It has greatly motivated students and encouraged them to be bolder and more innovative. The University would continue to deepen innovation and entrepreneurship education for students. Establishment of the coordinated virtual teaching & research office among universities based in Shahe Higher Education Zone would serve as a precious opportunity for BISTU to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship education and strengthen competitiveness of our students.
