Beijing, March 13th, 2014(BISTU)--- Jianxiangqiao Campus witnessed fruitful international education exchanges between University College Cork and BISTU School of Computer Science on 13^th March 2014. Prof. Li Ning, Dean of the School and Vice Dean Chen Xin attended the discussion.  

Prof. Li Ning welcomed honoured guests from Ireland and offered an introduction to faculty, students, teaching, and research at the School. He also covered highlights in globalization of the School in recent years. 

University College Cork delegates made a generalization of the University and its international cooperation programmes. BISTU students studying with the University have performed excellently. And Zeng Bin, a 3+1 programme student, has won EU scholarship for his academic excellence.  

Both parties discussed on how to expand the cooperation and benefit more students, and exchanged ideas on faculty training, bilingual teaching, and curriculum setting, etc., followed by a feature report on “Understanding Ireland and University College Cork”.
